Helpful Tips
- Start NSAIDs 1–2 days before expected onset
- Heat pads on the lower abdomen provide fast relief
- Stay hydrated and limit caffeine and salt
- Light exercise can reduce severity
When to See a Doctor
See a doctor if cramps are severe enough to disrupt daily activities, suddenly worsen, or are accompanied by unusual bleeding.
