Helpful Tips
- Cool with cool (not cold) running water for 10–20 minutes
- Never apply butter, oil, or ice
- Don't pop blisters
- Keep covered to prevent infection
When to See a Doctor
Seek immediate care for burns larger than your palm, burns on the face, hands, feet, or genitals, any blistering burns, or burns with charred skin.
